Investing in Ukraine: The 2nd Infrastructure Forum in Kyiv welcoming key market players and investors

On 20 April, 2017 the second “#Ukrainian #Infrastructure #Forum ’17” was held in #Kyiv, patronized by the #Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and arranged by A7 CONFERENCES. Partner support in running the forum was provided by such companies as Lanet, EKTA, PWC, Lemtrans, Turkish Airlines, #Ukrposhta and others. The forum was housed in Ballroom and Golden Gates halls of InterContinental Kyiv Hotel, while the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan, the Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Transport Yaroslav Dubnevych and the General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Kyiv Dincer Sayici were among the speakers addressing the conference.

The forum was focused on attracting investment in Ukrainian infrastructure sector, and became a major event of this focus area due to participation of many powerful players related to the industry. Representatives of government authorities, Ukrainian businessmen, international investors, local manufacturers and members of profile associations exchanged their views on the present-day situation in the infrastructure sector and its growth prospects. The main aim of the discussion, ardently supported by foreign embassies and leading media, was to reveal the potential of Ukrainian transport infrastructure and bring the matter to the limelight, while enticing both local and foreign investors. The forum hosts and participants expressed confidence that the conference would contribute to increasing investment inflow into infrastructure projects in Ukraine.
